Would sharing incidents with other companies in the industry prevent similar incidents from happening? Should companies be open to sharing their incidents?
Mark and Guest-host, Paige Wilson, had a chance to talk with Jack Hinton, Chief HSE Officer at Baker Hughes a GE Company, during OTC 2018 about how we as an industry can get to zero incidents through collaboration.
“It’s nice when it comes to safety there should be no competition, from a standpoint of doing what’s necessary to remove the hazards. Remove the risk and get the right controls in place” says BHGE Chief HSE Officer, Jack Hinton. “It starts with a change in attitude, a change in mindset. HSE is an incredible common denominator and I’m seeing greater collaboration across the industry on HSE then ever before.”
